Band of Fifty Will Make Trip to West Point

Fifty members of the R.O.T.C. bnad will travel to West Point after $4,500 was raised for their expenses. This amount was reached after considerable effort through fundraising such as the Band Ball, selling of "N" feathers by the Corn Cobs, buckets in the stadium, radio programs, and contributions from organizations and individuals. Gen. John J. Pershing donated $25 towards the band's trip. The band will lead a parade to the Burlington Station before departing.
