For the Homecoming Queen, the University of Nebraska Band wishes to forecast her Calendar of events during her year of reign.

January is ushered in by the Bells of the New Year.

In February our Queen will receive a Valentine.

In March there will be the wearing of the green of the Shamrock.

The Queen will need an Umbrella for the April Showers.

In May she will delight in the Spring Flowers.

With June comes romance highlighted by a Wedding Cake.

July will be banging with Firecrackers.

With August there will be vacation and the big fish that got away.

September brings the reality of the three R's --- readin', writin', and 'rithmatic.

A smiling Jack-o-Lantern appears at the Queen's window in October.

In November, this Turkey will be served her.

Under the Christmas Tree in December, may all good wishes and gifts of happiness be enjoyed by our Homecoming Queen.
